Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable enterprise and transactional data architectures for healthcare and PBM platforms.
• Define data architecture strategies, standards, data models, and integration patterns.
• Architect solutions capable of supporting high-volume healthcare and PBM transactions.
• Design solutions across both operational/transactional and analytical data environments.
• Develop cloud-native data architectures leveraging AWS technologies.
• Establish scalable ETL/ELT, API-based, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Support data governance, quality, security, and metadata management initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, application, engineering, and cloud teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Architecture, or a related area.
• Strong hands-on experience architecting enterprise solutions within AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience designing high-volume transactional data architectures on hyperscaler/cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with healthcare data and transactional systems.
• Hands-on Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain experience is required.
• Strong understanding of PBM domains such as:
  • Member / Eligibility
  • Benefits and Formulary
  • Pharmacy / Pharmacy Network
  • Claims and Adjudication
  • Drug / Product and Pricing
  • Rebates
  • Prior Authorization
  • Accumulators
  • Provider and Enrollment
• Strong expertise in SQL, relational databases, and enterprise data modeling.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, distributed processing, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with data governance, security, data quality, and metadata management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Architecture experience with AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis, AWS Lake Formation, and AWS Step Functions.
• Experience with cloud-native security and IAM concepts.
• Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical healthcare or PBM transactional platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
