Description

You will manage and maintain critical data center infrastructure and hardware components.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot server, storage, and networking equipment to resolve malfunctions or failures.
  • Install and configure new servers, storage devices, routers, switches, and network components.
  • Conduct capacity assessments of existing infrastructure to support future growth requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all server and storage configurations and system changes.
  • Perform regular data backups and write scripts to automate common data center processes.
  • Monitor energy usage and conduct environmental and air quality tests to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technologies.
  • Expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting server, storage, and networking hardware.
  • Experience installing and configuring routers, switches, and network components.
  • Proficiency in providing technical support for data center applications and operating systems.
  • Ability to write scripts for process automation.
  • Experience with capacity planning and infrastructure assessment.
  • Knowledge of data backup procedures and documentation standards.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
