Description

Manage white space fit-out and physical infrastructure lifecycle for data center projects in Dayton, Ohio.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of data center fit-out projects, coordinating on-site with design subject matter experts.
• Oversee subcontractors and manage client relationships to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Develop project budgets, plans, RFIs, and RFPs, including bid leveling and analysis.
• Maintain project documentation, including scope, billing, schedules, and timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager within a data center environment.
• 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in data center facilities design and build project management.
• Deep understanding of data center physical infrastructure, including power distribution and structured cabling.
• Experience managing mid-sized data center build-outs or fit-outs in colocation facilities.
• Proficiency in space planning and HVAC system requirements.
• Ability to manage project scope, budgets, and stakeholder communication effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with interpreting design drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations.
• Relevant certifications such as RCDD, BICSI DCDC, or CDCDP.
• Knowledge of contractor bid leveling processes and local vendor relationships.
