Description

You will design and manage large-scale data architectures and automated ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data processing workflows using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, or AWS Glue.
• Manage Teradata databases using utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT.
• Optimize query performance through indexing, partitioning, and workload management within Teradata.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Write scripts in Python or Shell to automate repetitive data engineering tasks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or database management.
• Deep knowledge of Teradata architecture, including AMPs, Nodes, and Parsing Engines.
• Proficiency with core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with AWS storage solutions such as S3, EFS, and Glacier.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with query optimization.
• Practical experience with Python or Shell scripting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
