Description

You will lead data migration efforts from on-premises databases to AWS Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions, applying transformations and data cleansing techniques.
• Design data solutions and perform analysis on complex sources to determine value for analytical processes.
• Incorporate data governance, security, and quality standards into all data management tasks.
• Test data movement, transformation code, and data components to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products and analytic environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proven experience with data migration from on-premises databases to AWS S3.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience working within AWS Cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable, implementable solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL tools.
