Description

You will design, implement, and optimize complex data infrastructure and software solutions. You own the full lifecycle from pipeline development to performance tuning, providing technical leadership and mentorship to the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate complex data infrastructure to solve technical challenges.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization techniques to improve system efficiency.
• Build high-quality, maintainable code and address performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and design reviews for team members.
• Maintain technical documentation including system architecture and code comments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, C#, Golang, and Bash.
• Deep experience with data transformations, pipelines, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and PySpark.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with distributed file storage, compute platforms, and data-centric systems architecture.
• Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of other data warehouse products.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Pandas, Databricks, or SageMaker.
