Description

You will design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows, and OneLake.
• Build and manage Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures leveraging Delta Lake, Spark Notebooks, and SQL Endpoints.
• Define and enforce Medallion Architecture standards (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for structured data refinement and quality control.
• Apply data modeling techniques including star schema, snowflake schema, and normalized/denormalized structures.

Required Skills

• 10–12 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL), Python, and Scala.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Dataflows, OneLake, Spark Notebooks, Lakehouse, and Warehouse.
• Expertise in data formats including Delta Lake, Parquet, CSV, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques such as star schema and snowflake schema.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Infrastructure-as-Code using Git, ARM templates, or Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview.
