Description

You will design and build the strategy for the finance analytics engineering team within the Enterprise Data Engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve data gathering, modeling, reporting capabilities, and self-service data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and Domain Experts to identify data requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Perform data analysis and database performance optimizations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data or BI engineer.
• Strong SQL abilities with hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent programming language.
• Extensive experience with data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow and DBT.
• Expertise in data modeling, data catalog concepts, and data formats.
• Experience with AWS or GCP services including S3/GCS, Lambda/Cloud Functions, EMR/Dataproc, Glue/Dataflow, and Athena.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related Software Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, SiSense, or Looker.
• Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, and TDD development practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
