Description

You will design and build complex data solutions and microservices to expose data via RESTful APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level design and systems analysis to define technical requirements.
• Build and maintain streaming integrations using Kafka clients and connectors.
• Develop microservices using Spring Boot to expose data through RESTful APIs.
• Manage source code through continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Write and maintain technical documentation within a software development environment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data or Software Engineering.
• Expertise in Java, Scala, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with Hadoop ecosystems including Sqoop, Hive, Pig, and MapReduce.
• Deep knowledge of Spark, including Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and MLlib.
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL and RDBMS.
• Proficiency with Kafka integration using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience working with source code control systems.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.

Preferred Skills

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or CIS.
• 8+ years of experience in Hadoop and Cloud Big Data components.
