You will design, develop, and tune HIVE-based data workflows and automated solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HIVE code and automated solutions for data workflows.
• Monitor and tune existing automated jobs to ensure performance.
• Troubleshoot job failures and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Query data to support business questions and investigations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define metrics and key performance indicators.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong ETL development background.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and investigation.
• Experience with HDFS and YARN.
• Experience with BASH scripting.
• Advanced English communication skills (B2+ level).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud experience including Cloudwatch, Lambda, EMR, and Athena.
