Description

Design, build, and operate scalable data integration and ingestion pipelines within a Snowflake environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-ready data integration and processing solutions.
• Lead technical design, support, and operations for extensible data ingestions.
• Conduct PoCs for new technologies, such as using DBT for SCD implementation.
• Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for specific technology domains.
• Collaborate with leadership to design technical architectures that meet long-term analytic goals.

Required Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Proficiency with Airflow and Data Vault methodologies.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, including Snow SQL, compute, and storage.
• Expertise in Snowflake features: RBAC controls, resource monitors, virtual warehouses, zero-copy cloning, and time travel.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ability to work with diverse data sources such as JSON, Parquet, and ORC.
• Proven experience in data migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouses.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) using DBT.
