Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data architecture supporting analytics and business intelligence. You will build and optimize data solutions on AWS, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Implement data migration strategies to transition data between systems and environments.
• Build and optimize data solutions using AWS services including S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue.
• Monitor and troubleshoot workflows to maintain high availability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on ELT processes and data migration.
• Strong expertise in AWS services, specifically S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases and data warehousing.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and warehousing concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
