Description

You will design and implement the data management solution for the Ocean Health Map GIS tool.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from disparate sources to conduct complex queries and reporting.
• Build conceptual, logical, relational, and physical data models to integrate provider and clinic service locations.
• Ingest and manage datasets using SQL-based commands and queries.
• Assess data flows for privacy and security, translating models into technical architecture diagrams.
• Identify gaps and patterns across datasets to propose solutions that generate new information.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a data modeler, engineer, or in a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in SQL and SQL-based database design.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Technical expertise in data mining, segmentation techniques, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with R and common high-level query languages.
• Proven experience analyzing and handling data within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work with IBM tools and platforms.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Data engineering certification, such as IBM Certified Data Engineer.
