Description

You will design and build data gathering, modeling, and reporting capabilities for the finance analytics engineering team. You will own the release pipeline and ensure high-quality data delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve self-service data platforms and reporting capabilities.
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines and data models.
• Optimize SQL and No-SQL database performance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, and Product Owners to define data requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data or BI Engineer.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python or an equivalent programming language.
• Experience with data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Proficiency with both SQL and No-SQL databases.
• Experience with data modeling, data catalog concepts, and data formats.
• Experience with AWS or GCP services including S3/GCS, Lambda/Cloud Functions, EMR/Dataproc, Glue/Dataflow, and Athena.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related Software Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow and DBT.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, SiSense, or Looker.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, TDD, and Terraform.
