Description

You will design and build data engineering solutions within cloud environments, integrating AI/ML pipelines into data workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective data engineering solutions based on problem statements.
• Build, understand, and document AI solutions and related artifacts.
• Integrate AI/ML pipelines into data workflows.
• Apply structured thinking to complex data challenges.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 5+ years working within AWS Cloud (Glue, Kafka, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudFormation).
• 2+ years of experience working with AI/ML concepts and pipeline focus.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with AI tooling, workflows, and basic artifacts (model documentation, configuration files).
• Experience with GitHub repositories.
• 2+ years in a regulated industry, preferably banking/financial services.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS) and orchestration tools (Airflow, EMR).
