Description

You will own the design and implementation of data infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Python, Databricks, Spark, DBT, and Delta Lake to deliver analytics-ready datasets.
• Design and implement efficient data models, selecting normalized or denormalized structures based on performance needs.
• Write performant SQL and Databricks notebooks, managing versioning and orchestration for data quality and lineage.
• Automate testing, validation, and deployments leveraging Github Actions or Jenkins.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with Databricks and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with DBT and Delta Tables.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins or Github Actions.
• Familiarity with data quality tools such as Collibra DQ and Collibra.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks notebooks.
• Background in data lineage management.
