Description

You design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows. You lead migration and modernization of data workflows across cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build efficient systems for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accessibility.
• Implement data governance, quality, and performance standards.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools to enhance pipeline performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehouse architectures.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of data quality, observability, and reliability practices.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Data Lake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud or cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.
• Experience with streaming data and event-driven architectures.
