Description

You will own cloud-based data strategy and architecture as a subject matter expert.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and architectures following ETL principles.
• Build data products to support analytics and data science teams.
• Partner with business analysts and architects to design technical architectures for enterprise projects.
• Mentor and coach data professionals on engineering standards and best practices.
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of new tools to improve team productivity.

Required Skills

• 10 years of related experience in data engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Python and SQL development and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing and tuning RDBMS technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or SingleStore.
• Strong proficiency using Spark for big data processing.
• Expertise in managing and tuning Data Lake and Lakehouse storage objects.
• Practical experience with ETL processes and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or MIS.
