Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of existing workflows to GCP Dataform and establish a scalable data pipeline framework.
• Design and develop efficient systems for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across platforms.
• Implement and monitor data governance, quality, and performance standards to ensure integrity.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to ensure data accessibility.
• Apply version control and CI/CD practices to data workflows.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and warehouse architectures.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Solid understanding of data quality, observability, and reliability practices.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in data migration or modernization projects.
• Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools.
