You build and maintain scalable data processing systems and infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop fault-tolerant data processing systems using Spark, Flink, or Druid.
• Design and maintain data models and ETL processes.
• Write complex SQL queries for analysis and reporting.
• Build and manage data storage and access infrastructure.
• Optimize pipelines and system performance for efficient processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Expertise in Spark and Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Teradata).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scala.
• Experience with Databricks.
