Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows for high-quality data integration.
• Develop dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas) and curated data marts.
• Implement data security best practices and governance frameworks.
• Build Power BI dashboards and develop DAX measures for actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
• 3+ years of experience designing dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas).
• 3+ years of experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and API integrations.
• 3+ years of experience ensuring data quality, security, and governance.
• 2+ years of experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Cloud.
• 2+ years of experience performing data migrations across on-premises, cloud, and cross-database environments.
• 5+ years of experience extracting and manipulating data from diverse on-premises and cloud sources.
• Proficiency in Python or R for statistical and machine learning techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, or Talend.
• Experience with modern app development using Next.js, Node.js, or D3.js.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools within Databricks or Azure.
