Description

Lead the finalization of a global business data ecosystem and business intelligence foundation.

Responsibilities

• Finalize the build-out of the business data ecosystem, including data standardization and self-service analytics.
• Design data models and create entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
• Build analytics workflows based on requirements from data analysts and internal business partners.
• Ingest new data sources into the ecosystem, prioritizing off-the-shelf tools over custom code.
• Verify adherence to data governance policies and collaborate with data owners on new capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience standing up data infrastructure and analytics.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) native capabilities.
• Expertise in BigQuery data optimization and data warehousing.
• Proven experience with data ingestion and schema standardization for event, batch, and streaming models.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Ability to design distributed, fault-tolerant systems with backward compatibility.
• Experience delivering data value to diverse business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with datasets at the hundreds of petabytes scale.
• Collaboration with product teams, data scientists, and functional departments to align on business value.
