Description

You will design and maintain data-intensive applications and pipelines within an Azure cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify integration requirements for various data sources and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, implement, and test cloud-based data applications on Azure.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Data Architects, and Enterprise Architects to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and coach junior engineers on best practices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience running data-driven solutions, including production deployment and management of data pipelines.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Scala or Java.
• Professional experience with Kafka for message streaming.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, or Beam for batch and streaming pipelines.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Azure or an equivalent cloud provider.
• Proficiency with DevOps technologies including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk and OpenTelemetry.
• Professional experience working within a Scrum framework.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Dutch language.
