Description

You will design and implement data architectures and models to support enterprise-scale analytics and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that represent organization data assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document data requirements, business rules, and platform objectives.
• Implement data modeling best practices including normalization, denormalization, and indexing to ensure integrity and performance.
• Integrate data models into the overall platform architecture to ensure efficient processing and storage.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate storage technologies and database management systems based on project constraints.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering roles within data and analytics.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data platform technologies.
• Proficiency with RDBMS, ETL, and data ingestion protocols.
• Experience managing data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts.
• Strong understanding of key data modeling concepts and patterns related to systems architecture.
• Ability to perform hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing data strategies across reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating data modeling processes to optimize time to market, transparency, and code portability.
• Ability to conduct sandbox POCs and identify infrastructure requirements for automated data loads.
