Description

You will design and implement end-to-end data solutions on GCP, covering ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures on GCP from ingestion to consumption.
• Manage and optimize Spark workloads using Scala.
• Build, host, and deploy REST APIs and microservices using App Engine, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Lead technical vision by balancing architecture design with business drivers.
• Implement data governance, data quality, and data modeling standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud ecosystems.
• Deep expertise in GCP services: GCS, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Scala.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience with ETL technologies and architecture design for hybrid cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices-based architectures and REST API development.
• Competency in at least one scripting language.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
