Description

You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouses on Azure to enable self-service analytics and AI-driven insights.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data lakes and warehouses using Azure data services for batch and near real-time ingestion.
• Develop efficient data models using star and snowflake schemas and define standardized business metrics.
• Integrate AI-driven analytics tools and semantic layers to support natural language querying.
• Implement data governance frameworks, access controls, and metadata standards for security and lineage.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in Azure data services, including data pipelines, storage, and warehousing.
• Proficiency in data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas, and building scalable architectures.
• Experience with analytics, reporting, and dashboarding tools.
• Understanding of data governance, security best practices, and regulated data handling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven analytics or natural language querying tools.
• Background in payments, financial services, or merchant platforms.
