Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines using Python and GCP services.
• Perform data ingestion, transformation, and cleansing from diverse sources.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
• Manage version control via GitHub and participate in CI/CD deployments.

Required Skills

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in Python for backend or data engineering.
• Strong experience with GCP services: Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow (including Composer DAGs).
• Strong SQL skills with enterprise databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with FastAPI for building APIs.
• Familiarity with storage technologies including MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with data migrations from on-premise sources to cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture and integration techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and GitHub workflows.
