Description

You will own MySQL database administration, operations, and production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform MySQL database administration, including backup, recovery, and clustering.
• Implement and manage MySQL replication topologies, covering master-slave and group replication.
• Monitor database performance, manage provisioning, and handle de-provisioning tasks.
• Execute database refresh, restore, high availability, disaster recovery, patching, and migration.
• Troubleshoot slow-running queries and resolve performance tuning issues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in MySQL database administration and production support.
• Expertise in performance tuning and incident management.
• Experience with change management and production support processes.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Db2.
• Knowledge of cloud computing environments.
• Experience using ticketing tools like ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to apply a logical approach and prioritize tasks in production environments.
