Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure using Airflow, dbt Core, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize Apache Airflow DAGs for efficient orchestration and scheduling.
• Develop, test, and document dbt Core models to ensure query performance and data quality.
• Manage and deploy data workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift, ensuring scalability.
• Monitor pipeline health and resolve bottlenecks in the data engineering workflow.
• Maintain rigorous documentation for all data models and orchestration logic.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related software engineering roles.
• Proven expertise with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in dbt Core for data transformation and testing.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and manage complex data dependencies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenShift specifically, including operator management and security contexts.
• Familiarity with SQL performance tuning and database internals.
