Description

You will develop and maintain the enterprise data platform within the Azure cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Liberate data from SQL and Mainframe sources into the enterprise data lake and operational data stores.
• Design, implement, and deploy data pipeline solutions with lineage capabilities using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Map source data into curated entities and functional views while implementing master data management strategies.
• Manage and publish curated data sets, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure data quality.
• Monitor availability, performance, security, and service levels of the enterprise data platform.

Required Skills

• Minimum 9 years of experience in information technology systems or data services delivery.
• 4+ years of experience designing and delivering Data Engineering services using Python, SQL, Scala, R, C#, Java, or U-SQL.
• 2+ years of experience delivering Data Engineering services using NoSQL platforms such as Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Hadoop, CouchBase, or HDInsights.
• Azure Data Engineer certification.
• Proficiency with Azure technologies including Terraform, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, and PySpark.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Management Platform.
• Familiarity with the financial services and/or life insurance industry.
