Description

You will own the technical direction and delivery of the organization's data engineering capabilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive data engineering strategy, standards, and best practices.
• Develop high-level and low-level solution architectures for data systems.
• Lead the design and implementation of high-performance data pipelines using dbt Core/Cloud.
• Design and review conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Mentor Data Engineers and guide project team members to elevate engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience delivering high-impact data projects.
• 5+ years experience with Snowflake, dbt Core/Cloud, and AWS Cloud Technologies.
• 7+ years coding experience in languages including Python and Java.
• Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, Shell, and Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora).
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Zenata and AWS Managed Airflow.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis on complex data issues.
