Description

You will design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data for reporting use cases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop curated data layers (bronze/silver/gold) optimized for BI consumption.
• Build and optimize data models to support scalable reporting and self-service analytics.
• Implement efficient partitioning, indexing, and query optimization strategies for large-scale datasets.
• Establish standards for data lineage, documentation, and metadata management to ensure governance and compliance.
• Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure high data quality and reliability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience building pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Airflow.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Experience supporting BI/reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building reporting infrastructure from scratch or during organizational expansion.
• Familiarity with data contracts, data product thinking, and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines for data.
