Description

You will lead the migration of complex SAS codebases to Python as part of a data modernization initiative.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and migrate complex SAS scripts into Python.
• Design and implement efficient, maintainable Python solutions.
• Leverage GitHub and AI-assisted tools to accelerate code conversion.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to validate requirements.
• Develop automated testing strategies to ensure data integrity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience.
• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven experience migrating or rewriting SAS code into Python.
• Strong SQL and data engineering experience.
• Experience with ETL Pipelines, data governance, and large-scale data environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub and version control best practices.
• Experience with Snowflake or Db2.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Cloud.
