Description

You will design and implement data architectures and ETL pipelines within an agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL processes for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Structure Data Lakes using Azure Data Lake Storage to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Write modular, dynamic, and parameterized code following established ETL frameworks and standards.
• Perform root cause analysis on data and processes to drive business improvements.
• Manage software changes and releases using unit testing and DevOps processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Expertise in SQL query writing and optimization against RDBMS.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen 2, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Scala, Synapse, and SQL Server.
• Scripting experience in Python, Scala, Java, PowerShell, and XML.
• Practical knowledge of implementing Data Lakes and Azure Data Lake Storage best practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps processes, and Infrastructure as Code fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Technical BS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent graduate degree.
