Description

You will design and build data pipelines and Ab Initio data graphs to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into consumable layers.

Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product teams to define data requirements. Document technical designs and operational runbooks. Support production stability through bug fixes, enhancements, and troubleshooting. Mentor junior developers and deliver high-quality code independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Ab Initio data graphs and ETL pipelines for data integration.
• Extract data from databases, flat files, and message queues.
• Transform raw data into structured, consumable layers for analytics.
• Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and operational runbooks.
• Provide production support, including debugging, enhancements, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, predominantly in Data Integration or Data Warehousing.
• 5+ years of ETL design and development using Ab Initio.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write high-performing queries.
• Working knowledge of Hadoop platform (preferably Cloudera), HDFS, Hive, and Impala.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of OLTP/OLAP data models and data warehouse fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Ab Initio CDC (Change Data Capture) experience.
• Working knowledge of AWS services.
• Java development experience.
