Description

You will design and deliver scalable data solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Coach and mentor data engineers on technical topics including Databricks and workflow optimization.
• Build and optimize ETL processes, data warehousing architectures, and data models.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using Git and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Scala.
• Extensive experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proven experience with Apache Kafka and graph-based data analysis in Cosmos DB.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL workflows.
• Solid experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark.
• Experience with data architecting, Power BI reporting, and data governance.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
