Description

You will design, implement, and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL.
• Build and automate data ingestion and processing pipelines for large-scale environments.
• Provide production support for data warehouse issues, including data load and transformation problems.
• Monitor Operational Level Agreements for warehouse health, performance, cost, and data quality.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and optimal execution patterns.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years designing and implementing large-scale data solutions on Azure Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in Python and Databricks for data engineering workflows.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and data modeling.
• Experience writing UNIX and Python scripts.
• Understanding of MS Azure configuration items related to Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Finance or Banking industry with knowledge of securities and banking products.
