Description

You will design and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on Azure and Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Implement data warehousing models, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Manage Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Zero-Copy Cloning.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security across all platforms.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total IT experience in Data Engineering and Big Data technologies.
• Active Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
• Active SnowPro Core Certification.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Key Vault.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and XML data sources.
• Working knowledge of Kafka and Terraform.
