Description

You will design, build, and support file-to-table data transformations using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IBM DataStage ETL jobs to ingest file feeds (CSV, fixed-width, delimited) into SQL Server tables.
• Build end-to-end ETL flows covering staging, transformations, validation, and downstream publishing.
• Implement source-to-target mapping and transformation logic based on requirements.
• Write, optimize, and tune SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL scripts within ETL workflows.
• Implement restartable jobs, including parameterization, logging, reject handling, and reconciliation checks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in ETL development using IBM DataStage.
• Strong SQL Server expertise with advanced T-SQL (CTEs, window functions, indexing basics).
• Solid understanding of file ingestion and parsing (CSV, fixed-width, control totals).
• Experience designing operational ETL jobs with logging, error handling, and auditability.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues end-to-end from source file to target table.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux basics.
