Description

You will design and implement complex data engineering solutions to support city agencies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures for consolidated data repositories.
• Design, develop, and test technical components for repository changes.
• Build ETL infrastructure to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using SQL and cloud technologies.
• Develop APIs for data access and downstream consumption.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience writing SQL.
• 8+ years of experience automating manual data operations, including copying, transferring, and manipulating data.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or SSIS.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, and Perl.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development with Informatica PowerCenter and B2B Data Transformation.
• Experience developing Microsoft PowerBI solutions.
• Experience using Oracle 10g/11g, SQL Server, or database appliances.
