Description

You will build scalable cloud migration solutions to move data from SQL Server to Snowflake through an Azure environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop SSIIS packages to support both full and incremental data loads.
• Configure ODBC connections for SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Implement error handling, logging, and retry logic within migration processes.
• Schedule and automate package execution using SQL Server Agent.
• Perform automated and manual data validation to ensure accuracy.
• Document technical logic and contribute to architecture diagrams and flow charts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in ETL development.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge, including legacy versions.
• Extensive SSIIS development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake and ODBC connectivity.
• Familiarity with Azure environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data migration projects and incremental load strategies.
• Snowflake SnowPro Core, Microsoft Certified Data Engineer Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Data Fundamentals certifications.
