Description

You will own the data engineering pipeline for moving and processing data from external bureaus to internal teams, focusing on modernizing legacy systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data processing pipelines using Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Python, and Java.
• Modernize legacy data pipelines and ensure efficient data movement from external vendors.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Participate in coding rounds and technical interviews to validate solution design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and delivery standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or in a Staff/VP engineering role.
• Deep expertise with Databricks and Snowflake for data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and Java for building scalable data processing applications.
• Strong command of Apache Spark for large-scale data transformation and analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and people management potential.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Background in legacy system modernization and data migration.
