Description

Build and optimize the data platform stack to support developers, architects, and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets to identify anomalies and resolve data issues.
• Design and implement data conversion strategies from legacy systems to new platforms.
• Develop, tune, and document ETL processes and data flows representing business logic.
• Perform design validation, reconciliation, and error handling within data load processes.
• Create technical specifications, including ER diagrams and data modeling documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing initiatives.
• 8-9 years of experience in ETL/Data transformation projects using Informatica, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with experience in query authoring and relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, or Vertica.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing design patterns, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Expertise in data modeling concepts and Normal forms.
• Proficiency with AWS infrastructure, including S3, SNS, EC2, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Matillion ELT and Snowflake Database.
• Experience building AWS Data Pipelines using Python, Spark, or SparkSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
