You will build and maintain scalable data applications and architectures within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using AWS services and Java.
• Architect effective solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code focused on performance and maintainability.
• Analyze and design complex systems to ensure architectural integrity.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to the team.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in software development and engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Python.
• Extensive experience with AWS technologies.
• Proven expertise in software design, data engineering, and data analysis.
• Ability to work in-office in Toronto 4 days per week.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks.
• Background in capital markets or the financial services industry.
