Description

You will build and optimize data pipelines and complex database structures in a global team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize large and complicated SQL statements to improve performance.
  • Develop scalable data solutions using Python or compiled languages.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize database queries and data structures.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across global teams.
  • Manage multiple tasks and requirements within an Agile methodology.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of continuous experience in data engineering roles.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in Python.
  • Proficiency in compiled languages such as C, C++, or Java.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL.
  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Snowflake or MongoDB.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with financial markets and financial assets.
  • Experience with tools for SQL query troubleshooting and performance optimization.
