Architect and maintain scalable cloud data solutions, focusing on decentralized architectures like Data Mesh.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines and cloud data solutions.
• Architect scalable, highly available cloud data layers using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Lead team design sessions, facilitate technical decisions, and review ETL requirements.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization measures.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and HIPAA privacy controls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Data Architecture, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• 3-5 years of experience developing cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud database platforms, specifically Snowflake.
• 3-5 years of experience with Informatica (IICS) and Airflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience managing large, multi-terabyte enterprise data platforms in the cloud.
• Knowledge of system administration, database administration, storage, and networking.
• Experience working with highly sensitive healthcare information and data privacy controls.

Preferred Skills

• AWS, Snowflake, or Cloud Data Engineer certifications.
• Experience with Cognos or Tableau reporting.
