Description

Own the design, construction, and maintenance of the data warehouse and associated data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehouse architecture, including index and view scripts.
• Code, document, and maintain stored procedures, system documentation, and metadata repositories.
• Implement data verification, testing methods, and lineage tracking.
• Oversee direct reporting resources and staff assigned to specific jobs.
• Mentor less experienced personnel and operate independently on mission-critical programs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience specifically in a data warehouse environment.
• Ab Initio ETL coding in GDE, Metadata Hub Lineage, and TRMC.
• Ab Initio graph, plan, and PSEt development, including PDL scripting.
• ANSI SQL and Teradata SQL extensions.
• Teradata Utilities including BTEQ, Fast Load, Multi Load, Fast Export, and TPump.
• Teradata SQL Assistant (Query Man) for EDS support.
• UNIX commands for source code navigation, error log analysis, and impact assessment.
• Linux Shell scripting for creating and reading driver scripts.
• Cloud operations, Data Engineering, and Data Integration within Azure/Databricks.
• Experience with Cloud Governance, Data Observability, and AI/ML.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain Postal clearance.
