Description

Own the design, construction, and maintenance of the data warehouse and associated data strategy.

Oversee direct reporting resources and staff assigned to specific jobs. Mentor less experienced personnel and operate independently on mission-critical programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehouse architecture, including index and view scripts.
• Code, document, and maintain stored procedures, system documentation, and metadata repositories.
• Implement data verification, testing methods, and lineage tracking.
• Develop Ab Initio graphs, plans, and PSEt, including PDL scripting.
• Utilize Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multi Load, Fast Export, TPump) for data movement.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience specifically in a data warehouse environment.
• Ab Initio ETL coding in GDE, Metadata Hub Lineage, and TRMC.
• ANSI SQL and Teradata SQL extensions.
• UNIX commands for source code navigation, error log analysis, and impact assessment.
• Linux Shell scripting for creating and reading driver scripts.
• Cloud operations, Data Engineering, and Data Integration within Azure/Databricks.
• Experience with Cloud Governance, Data Observability, and AI/ML.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain Postal clearance.
