Description

You will engineer, deploy, and scale infrastructure for big data and platform data management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and associated data access APIs.
• Design, manage, and conduct quality control procedures for datasets sourced from multiple systems.
• Create data models by studying existing warehouse architecture and evaluating alternative logical models.
• Create data collection frameworks for both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Apply extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) techniques to connect large datasets from various sources.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of working experience in data engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• 5+ years of experience with database design and developing modeling tools.
• Expert knowledge of at least one programming language (SQL, NoSQL, or Python).
• Hands-on experience with application development, relational database layout, and data modeling.
• Expert knowledge of database design and implementation concepts.
• Expert knowledge of data exchange formats and data movement concepts.
• Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and scaling.
