Description

You will manage and enhance in-house data applications and complex data feeds.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing applications, addressing compliance needs, vulnerabilities, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
• Manage 12 distinct data feeds collected from various upstream sources.
• Monitor data jobs and troubleshoot issues to provide business support.
• Improve reporting processes and implement optimizations to reduce BAU workload.
• Support large-scale regulatory projects through resource allocation and technical execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in application development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, ECS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and API development.
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, including shell scripting and basic commands.
• 2+ years of experience using public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• 2+ years of experience working within Agile engineering practices.
• Competency in Scala or Java.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
